Bring your ESME (External Short Message Entity) over standard SMPP 3.4 over
TLS 1.2+. Submit-SM goes in; we route to the cheapest healthy upstream that
covers the destination country, capture every DLR (delivery receipt),
stitch DLRs across multi-hop routes back to your original message_id, and
charge back to the originating client by MCC/MNC. Per-client TPS limits,
per-route caps, automatic failover on submit-sm timeout or NACK,
IP allowlist + system-ID + password auth, audit row in smpp_audit
for every bind / unbind / submit / DLR.
One REST call returns the live carrier, line type (mobile / fixed / VoIP / disposable), country, MCC / MNC, original carrier vs current carrier (so you detect mobile-number-portability), ported-out flag, roaming status, and a reachability probe — pulled from a HLR (Home Location Register) query at the edge with per-E.164 carrier-aware caching. Critical before SMS sending so you do not pay aggregator rates on a ported-out number that will silently bounce.
